Jim Schultz
Jim is a veteran executive who brings his experience as a world-class motivator and dynamic change agent to Brimstone. From his days as a supersonic F4 Phantom II jet fighter pilot, to accomplished careers in government and business, he is known as a leader who gets results the right way. Jim has been widely featured in various publications, including: The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Journal of Commerce, and others. Jim brings a special focus on creating positive cultures in safety, employee engagement, customer service, productivity, and team alignment. Working with Fortune 500 companies, his leadership approach is rooted in balancing human behavior, accountability, common sense process, and performance measures. As a member of the Brimstone team, Jim’s clients include work with IATA, RRI Energy, and Waste Management. Prior to joining Brimstone, he served as Senior Vice President Employee and Customer Engagement for Waste Management, Inc. where he developed and led the “Mission to Excellence” program, which engaged employees to provide safe, consistent superior customer experience. Jim also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for Patriot Rail Company, a transportation holding company with railroad operations in 14 states.
Jim earned his BS from Arizona State University, his MA from Webster University, and has completed post-graduate and executive course work in residence at The Harvard Business School, Northwestern University, and the University of Southern California. He lives in Fredericksburg, Texas with his wife.
