Rob Melvin
Rob was born and raised in San Diego California where he grew up mostly surfing and skateboarding. He started working in the constructions trades at the early age of 16, specifically focusing on HVAC. He is an experienced facilities leader with a demonstrated history of success in the commercial property, healthcare, manufacturing, biotech, non-profit and robotics industries. Rob is highly skilled in HVACR, electrical, plumbing, building automation, plant operations, office equipment, communications systems, workplace safety and ergonomics. Rob has an FMP credential from I.F.M.A. and continuously looks for exciting new challenges. Rob loves to golf, hike, be outdoors, and spend time with his kids. He once ran the San Diego Rock ‘n’ Roll marathon in under 5 hours, just to see if he could.
Rob attended both San Diego City College, and San Diego Mesa College where he studied in the construction management field. Rob now lives in central Maine with his wife and two sons, he is learning to sail and wishes to one day circumnavigate the planet in a sailboat.
