Maura Bullock

Maura brings over 20 years of experience in organizational development, change management, culture transformation, talent management, and executive coaching in both internal HR roles and as a consultant.  Her passion lies in helping companies realize their vision and strategy by collaboratively designing custom solutions that address their unique business needs and are grounded in their cultural aspirations.

Most recently, she was the Chief Human Resources Officer for Akcea Therapeutics, a global, commercial-stage biotechnology company.  As a member of the company’s executive team, Maura provided strategy and guidance on scaling the organization for growth, managing organizational transformation, and aligning the business strategy, organization, and culture through leadership development, performance and talent management, total rewards programs, and internal communications.

Prior to Akcea Therapeutics, Maura was a Managing Director for Brimstone Consulting Group, a boutique consulting firm focused on leveraging change and building capabilities to drive organizational transformation.  She also spent seven years with Biogen in a range of human resources leadership roles including Vice President of Human Resources for the Pharmaceutical Operations & Technology function and Head of Global Leadership Development.  Prior to Biogen, she spent seven years with PAREXEL International, a global contract research organization in a variety of director-level human resources roles.

Maura earned her B.A. in English from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.  She currently resides on Cape Cod.
